Assistance with using Gcode, placeholders and macros

Hello,
I want to take more fine tune control of my prints and want to include Gcode,placeholders and macros in the Scripts tabs.
Here is what i'm needing. I would like to know if there is definitive documentation on how to use Placeholders, Macro and Gcode within the Simplify3D archive. I am aware of the wiki for Gcode but am looking for more examples that show how to use it within the Simplify3D environment. The Gcode i've googled seems to be geared towards actual CNC activities. I have not however been able to find any info on how to use Macros and Placeholders besides a few examples. I would really appreciate any guidance on this.

Here is what I want to do via my script tags which seems very simple, but I just don't know how :

• #1 On Layers 2 - 57 on my print I would like to slow my speed, set my high temperature and turn up my cooling fan to 100
  #2 From Layers 57 - 133 I would like to lower the speed some more, lower my temp and keep cooling fan high
  #3 Layers 133-456 - Raise temp, keep cooling high and increase my speed

The printer I use is a Makerbot Replicator 2

Personally, I would just create 3 separate processes for this. Then you can change any settings you want between those different layers quite easily. It is explained here: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tuto ... f-a-model/
