Anyone using the Cubicon Single with Simplify3D ?

Just bought Sinplify3D with the hope of using it with my Cubicon Single. Has anyone managed to do this successfully yet?

Hi, yep running the same set up. Profiles for printing and how to install are on the cubicon website

me2, works fine except:

- printing time is always 20-30% longer as calculated in simplify3d
- estimated print time is not shown in cubicon display, I already tried to compare the cubicreator HVS gcode with the simplify3d gcode to see how the time line is written, but I didn't find the line where the time span is probably written by the software so the machine can display it


if anyone how how to find the print time, here are both HVS files from cubicreator and simplify3d:

Why don't you email the cubicon people about it? They are the ones that created the profiles and will surely know what line is needed to make the LCD display correctly

good idea, I just contacted their support now via email and linked this forum post, so let's see if they can update it easily in the FFF config file

Yes, I use their newest fff file for simplify3d. Works all fine except those small issues. I already emailed cubicon support today, let's see what they answer.

Still no reply of Cubicon... South Korean summer holidays? Or they are putting all their time in the release of the new Cubicon series.

I'm having a problem when the Style profile starts. The extruder isn't getting primed correctly and the print is either starting late or not at all. Tried increasing the number of skirts, made no difference. I need a way to have it draw from the bed edge (like Cubicon's software does).

You probably want to start by reading this:

And if you want it to do something else at startup, you can always edit the starting script
