The starting script for the Makerbot Rep 1 Single is wrong, it doesn't behave correctly.
It homes then it sends the extruder to the front left, after heating up it just extrudes some plastic into the air then it goes in to start printing and makes a mess of the first layer. Unlike the Rep 1 Dual starting script the commands to print the purge line across the bed and wipe were left out. Here is a correct starting script that fixes this.
