Printing Circular objects - Infill not working

HI All,

I'm trying to print a 1.6mm thick circular ring of Ninjaflex and no matter what infill i choose it prints the base with a solid finish but then the rest of the print is essentially four walls of flex printed perfectly next to each other but doesnt finish the top off so that the top is solid.

Is there a way to force the structural infill as I have changed the type of infill and S3D ignores it and continues to print 4 walls

Re: Printing Circular objects - Infill not working

If you set the number of perimeters to 1, then that will force it to use infill. It's up to you if you want that for the entire model or not.

If you only want that for the top, then you can use multiple processes with the start/stop at height options to adjust the settings only for the top few layers

Did you define the number of top and bottom layers?

Re: Printing Circular objects - Infill not working

Yes the top and bottom layers are set as normal.

A combination of the two solutions that CompoundCarl provided has done the trick!

Process1 left as first described to produce finish and elasticity
Process2 reduced perimeter shells from 2 to 1 to finish top layers off properly

Thanks!
