Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus

Looking to see if anyone has this printer working and would be interested in sharing their profile.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus

From what I can see, it looks like it is identical to the normal Duplicator i3. The changes don't affect the slicing settings that you use in S3D.

So just go to Help > Configuration Assistant, and select the Wanhao Duplicator i3

Re: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus

I have i3 Plus and had a fair share of problem initially to make it print with Simplify3d but now it work well.
I only print with PLa at the moment.
I've attached my profile that I use most of the time.

After a little bit of a hassle, I finally got the the system to recognize cu.wchusbserial1420...it would previously only recognize the bluetooth. For some reason in system report on my mac it still doesn't show that in the USB device tree...only the bluetooth. I followed the instructions after updating to version 1.4 of the driver (http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_MAC_ZIP.html) and then I followed the instructions to include the instructions on uninstalling the "unsigned driver". Not sure if that helped, but I do know that the previous version (1.3) caused kernel panic on my system running high sierra.

So, now I'm in business - currently printing from my mac instead of the sd. Hope this helps.
