I looking at printing a flexible filament in a wanhao 4s. As this is not supported I cannot get any settings to put in my software and simplify 3D does not have a drop down box with the setting in already. I know I need to make some parts to stop the filament from flexing and gett mashed up, I've got these made, but cannot find any settings to start printing with.
Start with a PLA profile. Set the printing speed for al actions the same. 25mm/sec is a good starting point. retraction at zero.
Use a skirt to get the flex flowing. 3 lines must be enough. Bed temperature 60 degrees, nozzle temp at 230.
Don't use the load filament option of the wanhao 4S. This goes to quick. Just put the filament with the preheat option in and push a little so that you see some flex coming out of the nozzle.
Start the print and when making the skirt the flex flow will begin.
