Break in Slice lines

I know my subject is strange sounding but a picture is worth a thousand words, but before you ask let me tell you what I know:
1. this was generated in solidworks
2. saved as an stl
3. brought into S3D version 3.1.1
4. sliced with Ultimaker 2 Extended
5. material : PLA
6. checked for any errors with S3D with nothing found or needed to be fixed
7. slices fine with Makerbot dual fff

Can anyone give me any idea what's the issue? Is it S3D or me?

Let's try a test!

In your print profile, temporarily uncheck the Coast at End option.

Now look at the slicer preview. Does it look better?

Go back and turn the Coast at End back on.

The preview only shows where the extruder is extruding.....coasting shows as "gaps" in the extrusion. The "gaps" will not be there in the actual printed object.....that is unless you've got your settings wrong, of course!

Thanks for the response. I will check this out tonight , but I did print this as well as others and I thought I saw these anomalies in the print. I will take a closer look and see if they match the slice.

That is what it was. I noticed that the coast feature is not on as a default in Makerbot profile but it is in Ultimaker. Looking at the actual print shows me I still have tuning to do. It is set at 1mm as a default. I'm still learning all the choices of the settings with S3D. Like Cura they keep adding options for "tuning" and sometimes it just forces us users to waste more time to see if it we can reach the holy grail of perfect printing.
