Help needed with thin walls

Hi everyone, I could use a little help! Im sure this is an easy fix but I can seem to find the solution. Most of my designs have a thickness of 1mm and I cant seem to get it to fill in between the outer and inner wall. For example if I print a vertical tube say 5mm in diameter with a thickness of 1mm I end up with 2 tubes that are not joined. Any help would be great, thank you!
