I have a problem right now with my flashforge creator. It just stops after a few hours. Until I figure out my problem I'd like to restart long prints when this happens. I've tried twice with no success.
I specified in my settings to start at a specific height that I carefully measured. The print preview showed the printing up in the air at the correct position.
When the printer was at home I would start printing and all the X, Y, and Z positions were wrong. At first i thought the g-code was assuming the head was still at the old position but then I realized the Z-height was twice what it should be. This makes no sense. If it thought the position was still the same it would start printing at zero height, not double height.
Has anyone had any luck restarting a print from where it left off?

FYI: I managed to do a restart by carefully manually editing the original gcode file. I gave up on trying to use the "start at height" feature of s3d.
