Prusa i3 MK3 poor surface above supports

Hello,
I recently purchased SImplify 3D, and started making my first prints with my Original Prusa i3 MK3 printer.
I can print very well, but I have big problems with the quality of the support.
Printing is of very poor quality where the supports are present.
I'll leave you an image of my last print to make you understand better:





As you can see, some edges are practically absent and damaged.
Now I'll leave you my print settings that I used to print this model (I used the PLA):









Am I wrong to enter any settings? Printing is very good where no media is present. Can you help me solve this problem?

Set horizontal offset from part to .12, set upper vertical separator to 1. Set support infill to 45% and try extra inflation at 0
Supports are an art you must experiment to find what works well. If the above does not work, try adding 2 layers of dense infill support at 75%.

As airscapes mentioned, getting the supports to work well does require some tweaking via trial and error.

I use a Prusa i3 MK2s and these are the settings that work best for me. Sometimes I need to set the location of the support manually in S3D so that it does not leave unsupported gaps where support is needed.

I tried to follow your advice, but the result did not improve much, especially for the edges that are printed badly.
I'll attach new updated fff, and photos of the result.

I've only looked briefly at your fff file. I hate looking at them!! I prefer a factory file....as I can see what the simulation of a tweak looks like before I suggest it. Think about that for the future!!

You have 2 perimeters...which is suicidal for an object with shallow angles edges. You need 4 at least.


For support for PLA, I use a support infill of 20%...it saves too much waste & makes the support easy to break apart.
I use 1 dense layer of 100% and a separation of 0.2mm
My default print speed is 2400mm/min and support underspeed is 70%


Supports break away very easily for me.....and very little mess!
