prepare to print! crash

The program seems to work fine until I hit prepare to print! then it crashes

It used to work on this machine but different models, different settings, nothing seems to get me past the almost instant shut down as windows looks for the solution that never comes.

Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks

Make sure you're using version 2.1.2, they just announced it released a bit ago. And then upload the STL file in question, so people here can download it and see if they also crash when trying to slice it.

Re: prepare to print! crash

The model is any model.

The first one I had the problem with was a simple 1" cube modeled in Solidworks. Once I had the problem, I tried other models that had worked fine in the past, but would no longer work.

Thank you for the suggestion, but it is not the model. I think it only has 12 triangles to it, very simple, works on another seat.

I will check the version, although it just stopped working.

Seen this before with another user. He just needed to update his graphics driver and then everything worked fine. What version driver are you using?

You might also want to try going to Tools --> Options and changing some of the settings on the VIsualization tab (Low detail, legacy graphics, etc)
