Any setting to provide this functionality between solid layer and infil?

Hey folks, question about settings is there any way to get Simplify3D to add a perimeter between a surface that has a solid top layer and has finished printing and a different section of the same model that has started printing infill because it will be vertically filled, but do it on the layer where the first section's top layer prints, and do it before infill is printed on the other section?

Here is a photo of what I get and what I would like:

How the solid layer and infill sections print currently:

How I'd like a perimeter to be added:

The perimeter I've traced on the second image *does* get added but not until the next layer after the solid one has printed and that leads to ends of the extruded paths sometimes looking quite messy and more importantly not adhering to each other that well.

Here is what happens later on and you can see how the first layer of infill didn't really stick. You might think this is irrelevant because it will end up invisible when the part is completed but there are occasions (especially on smaller parts) where those extrusion path ends get lifted because they have nothing to stick to and end up causing a print crash a couple of layers later and potentially pulling the whole part loose from the print bed.
