USB HID and/or ethernet connections?

Is there any chance to connect directly to the printer without using the old USB serial interface?

I have a zMorph3D printer and they have upgraded their connection from USB serial interface to either an ethernet connection or a USB HID connection in order to send the commands. It would be really great if Simplify3d could connect with one of those options too? Any plans to implement this?

Thanks in advance,
Oliver

Agree, would be great if Simplify3d did that!

+1

My printer is using Raspberry Pi with a wifi connection. The printer has a TCP port that I can connect to talk to the 3D controller Merlin firmware.

Wifi would be hugely helpful!
