order of fill lines printing

Hi,
It would be nice to have an option to "not interupt fill lines"
Please refer to picture,
you see the head stop inline the main part to go to the smaller one
to get a better finish result, it would be nice to have the possibillity to continue the job till the end and next to do the little part
I would prefer the first layer to have all so I guess I need to change infill or component orientation but it is not the best option

More generally, it would be a new tool to change the order in which the fill lines for solid layers are printed

Again, just an idea :)

Re: order of fill lines printing

Thanks for you idea. I believe the current method it prints minimizes extra travel moves. I'll certainly suggest this to our developers, but as you've said, the best way to get a better bottom finish would be to re-orient the model so that the fill lines are more optimized for the model's specific geometry.

Re: order of fill lines printing

thanks for your answer :)

I guess the only way to achieve that is to have infill following external model lines
so it could be not so good for overlaping right ?

Also,
an other parameter linked to the new feature would be to print infill BEFORE external lines to avoid seeing internal structure from the outside of the finished print
