Dual Color Issues

Trying to print a whistle with dual colors. Basically putting lettering on both sides.

The bed side prints just fine, but the top side does not, looks kinda 'mixed' with the colors.

Looking at the layer by layer preview, I see the issue. (see pictures) Trying to figure out how to fix it.

Here is the bottom layer, set up as I would expect.

Then as the upper lettering starts to print, the infill mixes over

And even the top layer, doesnt have outlines around the lettering.

Here is how I am setting up.

I import both STL files.
Using Shift - Center & Arrange, i get them lined up together.
Tools - Dual Extrusion Wizard, and select my files for each extruder



Am I doing something wrong?
