Very "Sparse" infill?

Is it just me, or does the infill appear to be very weak and sparse? It seems that my prints are doing very well with Simplify 3d (sometimes a little bumpy but tunable) but watching the infill it makes you think.... "why even bother?" It looks like a weak sausage link rope stretched across the inside, not a solid line of infill back and forth. Anyone else notice this? I am using a Flashforge printer. The ONLY reason I use Simplify3D instead of Makerware is because Makerware always leaves a stupid "zipper" or line up the middle of the part.

Re: Very "Sparse" infill?

uncheck the box "random infill placement". if you do this the layers will all line up making a structure of walls.

Unless you want to use multiple infill angles. Then the layers of each wall will be separated by the number of angles. .. which again makes them weak. (and also makes that first solid layer a royal pain to get pretty.

+1 for other infill patters (been suggested already for quite some time in other threads.)
