Simple question: Display of flow rate in preview

Maybe a dumb question but is there any setting that configures the range of extrusion rates in the preview? Currently the maximum is a ridiculous 960 mm^3/s while I am printing in the range of max. 20 mm^3/s so everything is the same color.

Thanks for you support.

Are you using version 5.0.1? The flow rate color range should be determined by the actual flow rates in the gcode file.

Have you looked through the preview to see where the red flow rate color regions appear?

yes, I am using version 5.0.1 ...

there is no red colored region ... all is deep blue as the maximum flow rate is related to > 900 mm^3/s (https://i.imgur.com/0vf2XkC.jpg). My max. print speed is 175 mm/s which is approx. 15 mm^3/s with a 0.4 mm nozzle.

The flow rate display is not granular enough to review the flow rates used in the print.

Maybe you can post the gcode file?

Have you tried checking the starting script for any movements that were manually coded? I've seen people enter speeds in the wrong units and cause crazy fast extrusions by accident.

I have removed all of my start code and still the preview windows show those extremly high extrusion rates. These are independant from any speed settings (print speed, travel speed). Reached the end of my wits.

Can you share your .factory file that exhibits this problem? Maybe something will "jump out" by having a different set of eyes looking at it.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm experiencing the same thing.
