I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone has had success with printing with dual extruders and if so what settings they are using.
I was hoping with the release of 2.2 they may be some more helpful settings.
I tried a print last night using the brim trick off 9999 layers, offsetting Extruder 1 by 6 and extruder 2 by 10. But unfortunately S3d ignores the inside brim and only print the outer most brim. Needless to say my print was still rubbish.
The only real success i have had with Dual extrusion has be using Cura and its wipe tower or Ooze shield.
I would love to find a solution that works in S3d. So if anyone has some settings that they are getting good results with, it would be great if they can share them.
Also any retraction settings that works well but I am guessing that my be based more on a particular printer.

I'm interested in this too. Current print job doesn't need dual extrusion but I've done a bunch of it before. I'll get back to it sooner or later. But yeah I was hoping to see the wiper towers too.
