[ADDED] Delete confirmation on Processes list

As the title suggests. Delete is close to Add and Edit, it's far too easy to accidentally hit it and when you do there appears to be no way of recovering the lost item.

if you delete your process by accident, you can hit add process and I believe it will replicate the last process you had. It's also good to save processes you use often so that you can have them saved to the profiles list in case you delete one by accident.

i agree with hablo. export is save, import is load. if you have a process you like then export it and save it in a folder of processes somewhere. you load and save your processes from the folder. i have never used the dropdown list. load and save like any other file in any other program. just my .02

I just save a Factory File every now and then with the date in the filename. It contains all the processes I've defined, so I can easily reload or go back in time to an earlier version if I really screw something up.

Re: Delete confirmation on Processes list

It's all a bit fiddly as a work flow though isn't it? And the exporting and importing is awkward. I mean what happens if I accidentally hit delete while going to hit the "edit process settings" button with the intention of exporting??

HabloIngles, it appears you are right, If you click add straight after delete it adds a new one with the same settings. So thanks for that. It's not perfect though as it doesn't populate the name, and I use the name to know what differs between the processes.

Re: Delete confirmation on Processes list

I actually feel like the workflow is better once I've exported the necessary profiles. It gets appended to the profiles list and I can easily switch between printer profiles. I've yet to edit the fff files, but I could make it even better if I combined a couple of my profiles and took use of the auto-configure material/quality settings. Exporting also helps if you delete a process by accident just add a new one and you'll still have all the profiles you've previously exported:

Re: Delete confirmation on Processes list

As of version 3.0, if you accidentally delete a process, you can just go to Edit > Undo to restore it.
