Bugs (part 3)

1) Start print from SD card (using "Print from SD card" on Machine control panel). Close Simplify 3D. This aborts the SD card print. Could be by design, to stop people leaving heaters on or something, but it needs a "Should I mess up your print yes/no?" dialog.

2) "Print from SD card" option doesn't show either the long or short file names.

My SD card currently has one file called "1.GCODE". This is what I see. BTW, the 1 at the start is just luck, if it were called 2.GCODE, it may still show 1***.

Re: Bugs (part 3)

1)
I haven't tried closing s3d first, but I always start SD Card prints through s3d on my printrbot simple (no LCD screen) and disconnect it without issue. I did that a lot this past week and every print has turned out fine. If this happens when you disconnect USB and you're running a RAMPS board, could be possible you don't have the correct PC-less configuration and it isnt being powered externally

2)here's what i see on my SD Card, everything seems to be right to me, maybe try a differnt sd card

Re: Bugs (part 3)

Are you running on Linux? I'm guessing it's a string encoding issue as yours looks correct for short file name format :)

Yeah, I'd expect osx and linux to look similar as they handle file system stuff in a similar way (notice how I didn't go into detail as I'm only vaguely aware of how OSX relates to Linux). This could well be a specific Windows issue
