Gaps in brim

Hi,

I'm trying to print a canopy for a model. It's fairly large, so tries to lift during the print. I figured I could fix that with a brim, but the brim outlines dont touch except for the one closest to the part barely touches.

I'm using a 1mm nozzle, 1.4mm extrusion width, 150% first layer width, 80% first layer height ( .25mm later height ).

Playing with the settings, I find they generally don't change things.

What am I missing?

Maybe you've missed one of the changes a few years back, I think introduced in v4.x.

Reducing first layer height will now also reduce the amount of material extruded. Up to
v3.x this did not happen, so lowering first layer height simply was some kind of z offset.
