Problem when slicing

I have placed 2 items on the build plate with adequate separation and all looks OK.
After clicking on SLICE the image turns into a mass of red lines (100s) going between the 2 items

My 2 worries are 1. Will these be printed??????

2. If these can be removed HOW

It sounds like you've 'Travel Moves' checked in the Print Preview Mode. These are usually useful to see what moves that the extruder takes when traveling from one point to another. Simply uncheck that if you don't want to see them.
