Ha, yeah. I was pretty frustrated by that point. I am going to try the tweaked profile.

I have tried the revised profile and it worked much better. Thank you!! However, the standard nozzle diameter is 0.5mm and when I tried with with ABS, it started printing when the bed temp was still 60 deg C and ultimately my first print failed. I changed that to heat up to final bed temp right away. I also have put a nozzle that is 4mm longer than the standard one so I have code to compensate for that. Here is my profile. The nozzle offset is commented out. Here is the startup gcode from the profile:
