I know this is a long standing thread, but it's the most appropriate thread for this post.
Just thought I'd show what I've been printing on my Makerbot Replicator 2 over the past two years, half of which has been sliced by S3D. This is my T Gauge (1/450th scale) layout of the railway bridge over the Firth of Forth near Edinburgh, Scotland...which I hope many will recognise as one of the iconic railway bridges of the world:
The bridge structure is 17 feet long and is made up of over 1000 separate printed components (in PLA). The land areas at either end contain between then just over 350 printed buildings ....so overall there's over 1400 printed parts.
