Option To Assign Scripts(G-Code) To Home Buttons

I'd like to be able to assign a custom script of G-Code to the home buttons that are located in the Machine Control Panel.
I use a custom bed probe that mechanically engages and disengages using XZ movements of the print carriage just before prints. I'd like to be able to use the same G-Code whenever I click the home button. It would be great if all four home buttons could each be assigned cust scripts.

You can already setup macro buttons in the machine control panel. Then you just click that button and it will run your custom commands.

You can change the macros in Tools > Firmware Configuration menu

I've attempted to set the macros but for some reason they always end up getting reset somehow automatically and never save properly. They work once but as soon as you start a print and try to use them a second time they've been erased. I think it has something to do with automatically updating from the firmware. I'm not sure if that's an oversight or a programming error, but you would think the macro functions would be better served thru the Profile panels rather then the Machine Control panels.
