support in a grid and infill

Hello, I am still migrating form Scli3r and Cura to Simplify3D.
How do I create a grid cross hatched support system in Simplify to create stronger supports? Also I used 5% infills in my large prints in this other software. When I use 5% in simplify3D, it produces a very thin spongy infill which is OK, since I add an extra exterior layer, but how do I create a more ridged 5% infill like in Slic3r or Cura?

Re: support in a grid and infill

For the infill turn off random infill placement. This will make a grid where everything lines up. For the support add the angles you want in the list. Default is prob 0 or 90. Add another angle to make your grid
