Feature Request: Email Alerts

It would be nice if you could add the ability to define an SMTP server and email address for alerts such as "Printing Complete", "Printing Error"...

Since prints can take some time, this would enable the software to alert the user when the print is complete or if an error occurred...Additionally since most SMS phones (all?) can be sent a txt message via an email address, a user could be alerted via txt message by the same settings...

Agreed.

Email notification for certain important events (filament out, power out (a little tougher if printer AND computer have power outage), print complete, all actions in the script section).

Any progress on this Simplify3D team?

YES PLEASE!

This would be great for a lot of us who aren't sitting there watching their 3D printer grind away. An email or a push notification to our phone would be perfect.

Any thoughts on adding this simple feature?
