Multi Process Grouping bug

Nasty little bug. caused me a lot of pain today :-)

I have a 35 object 35 process factory file.

that was fun forming that since there is no automated way to do it :-)

anyway I also had to use variable settings to process each process.

no way to automate this sadly (would be nice to "modify one" and then APPLY those modifications to other processes in a copy paste style action??

anyway. once I created 10 of the 35 I "grouped" them so I could make a change to all but when I UNGROUPED them simplify 3d MOVED THEM to the bottom of the stack.

this completely breaks the entire process stack. you can't print an object 50mm in the air without first printing the object 45mm in the air under it. so I had to manually "MOVE" that group of 10 back into its proper position.

Software should RETAIN original order since its absolutely critical for sequential printing! :-)

Would also be nice is "variable settings" worked both RELATIVE and GLOBAL

when I modify the process for object 10 50mm in the air I want the process to split it 0.6mm relative TO THAT OBJECT but the software can't do this. it wants the "global value" (50 bottom of 10th object plus 0.6 or 50.6mm) it would be nice if it recognize relative values and translated them itself to Global values (and remember this translation so if I move the object the relative value moves and is recalculated with it) (this last thing is not a bug just a would be nice feature)

Thanks for your request. I've documented it and will monitor your thread for user interest in these changes.

I also requested a way to select the order the parts are printed in.

And allowing the ooze shield to be placed where it is needed the most.

it makes the most sense to print in the order the models are listed in the 'Models' list.

You can order the print processes with click and drag. They'll print from the top of the list to the bottom of the list.

If you group processes, a change of a setting of one is made on all ones
some parameters not but the mainly used yes (speed, temp...)

Re: Multi Process Grouping bug

Well the issue I am having now is that it "IGNORES" my instructions.

I created 35 processes for the 35 objects so I could order the slicer to slow down the first layer of each object.

S3D completely ignores my instructions and pretends the "first layer" settings don't exist for anything but the first object.
