problems with version 5.

why are thin walls filled?
You can't print it full like that because otherwise it gets too hot and the "tower" melts.

Re: problems with version 5.

Are you saying you want to print the towers completely hollow? Even at the top? That's a little odd, but I guess you could do it by setting your infill percentage to zero and using 0 top solid layers.

For your other questions, the Layer Modifications can now be found by clicking the "Custom Zones" button in the bottom of your process settings window. The Post-Processing script is on the Scripts tab (it has a whole separate tab now).

Re: problems with version 5.

there is a new setting in Infill >> Solid Area Infill. default is 25. set to zero. anything below 25mm^2 will be solid. Most of the industrial printer systems like Stratasys out there do the same thing to increase the strength of the part. but with S3D you can at least zero this out. This is much welcome new setting.

Re: problems with version 5.

It's a new feature, to improve part strength.

thank you now i have found the place.

why did you remove the slider for the infill?

you always have to look for the parameter in the tab

I cannot print this part cleanly with s3d.

the "tower" was always scolding because of the forced infill.

with a another slicer the part is not a problem to print.
