Simplify3D Upgrade - 4->5 - Profiles?

I have many profiles for my FlashForge Creator Pro (2016 edition) in Simplify3D 4.x, and I just upgraded to 5.0.

Would it make any sense to start from a default FFCP profile in 5.0, and make new modifications from there?

I've noticed a few less-than-optimal issues since I upgraded, and wondered if Simplify3D has a newer "default" profile for the FFCP printer?

Thanks!

Re: Simplify3D Upgrade - 4->5 - Profiles?

You can always go to Help > Migration Assistant to automatically migrate all of your V4 profiles to V5. The settings will then be the same as what you were already using in V4.

That being said, I know we made improvements to many of the profiles in V5, so if you want to re-download the latest settings we provide for your printer just go to Help > Configuration Assistant and type the name of you rm machine.

Either approach can work. If your old V4 software printed well, maybe just use the Migration Assistant. If you noticed problems with V4, I would certainly try using the Configuration Assistant to download the latest profile.
