I have a large part I am trying to slice. If I set Gyroid infill to anything over 15% infill it crashes V5.
I need a heavy infill that won't contribute to warping or lifting from the bed. I am using TPU.
No problem. Totally understand the no-share.
Cool. Thanks for that info.
Thanks but the reason for these types, is infill types like rectilinear or others that connect to walls with straight lines are causing issues with the print lifting at the corners and edges due to the increased stresses from the infill contracting as it cools and pulling on the walls.S3D-Jason wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 7:18 am You could try going to Tools > Options, and disable the "Automatically load preview after slicing" option. That way you can try to export the gcode without loading the preview at all.
From looking at the build, I would definitely suggest using a different pattern if you want to use this high of an infill percentage. Gyroid is really best when you are doing lower infill percentage like 5-10%. For higher values like 40-50% it isn't really offering much benefit. You're just creating a massive gcode file when something like rectilinear would provide the same strength. Massive gcode files with 50 million+ movements require a lot of GPU resources to render, so I suspect you are just running out of resources.
