Live Preview Tracking Lags Behind Printer

The live preview tracking feature is a long way behind what my printer is actually doing - like my printer is already on the next layer to what's shown in the preview.

I'm using a Flashforge Creator Pro and I have live preview tracking at the default 5 second update interval.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks

Try lowering the update interval to 1 second

Re: Live Preview Tracking Lags Behind Printer

Using version 3.1 on a Mac, I too find the Live Preview Tracking to lag, even with the update interval set down to 1.0 sec.

I'm using Geeetech G2S Pro. The similar feature on Repetier Host has no trouble keeping up. Is there some thing I'm missing, or does the live tracking just lag for most printers/computers?

Thanks,

John

It turns out that you need to set preview to "by line" and not "by layer" if you want it to actually update in anything close to real time. Mine is keeping up fine now. In fact, I think it is ahead. ;)

Mine seems to be ahead at one point then lags at another! Who knows!
