Single outline prints

Hi,
I'm trying to print a part with a 0,6 mm wall (airfoil). My Nozzle is 0,5 mm and the extrusion width is set to 0,6 mm. To get Simplify to print this part I already increased the Wall-Thickness to 0,7 mm, otherwise I get holes in the print.
The problem is now: Simplify is not doing only one turn each layer, but two. One clockwise, the other one counter-clockwise. Each one on the same path and with the same filament length extruded. So basically each layer is printed twice. This results in a doubled print time, doubled weigth, over extruded walls and a blob building up where the extruder changes direction from CW to CCW.
Is this a bug or did I just miss the correct check-box? (I don't want to use the vase-mode because I need a solid bottom layer)

Re: Single outline prints

Sounds similar to the problem/bug I have here
For now if you don't need any spars in your wing, try selection "Merge all outlines into a single model" under the "Advanced tab"
then set your nozzle back to .6 and use 0% infill with 1 perimeter and however many bottom layers you need.

Re: Single outline prints

I've finally found a solution for printing the foil with single outline and spars:
- Save the hull of the wing (without spars and bottom) as one STL file
- Save the bottom and spars as a seperate STL file
- Import both STLs in Simplify and arrange them correctly to each other
- Create one print process and activate "Merge all outlines into a single model" under the "Advanced tab", 0% infill and 0 Bottom and Top-Layers
- Assign the Hull of the wing to this process
- Create another process with "normal" settings and assign the STL-file with bottom and spars to it
- When clicking "prepare to print" select both processes and "Continous printing layer-by-layer"

This gives a solid and fairly light wing.
