Multi resolution printing?

Hi-
I'm just wondering if anyone has played with creating slice settings with varying layer height resolutions? Example: I have a relief sculpture I want to print large and want to print the lower half at .3mm layer height and then the top half at .1mm layer height. These are going to be long prints and this could save a lot of time. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else has played with this before I try. This seems possible with multiple print processes. Any advice?

Re: Multi resolution printing?

So I just tried this and it seems to have worked okay except that I left top layers on the lower process and bottom layers on my top process, so I ended up with a solid stripe in the middle. Is there an isssue with setting the lower process to have 0 top layers and the upper one to have ) bottom layers? This is going to be my next attempt.
