OK, I'll admit, I've done a quick search of the forum, a quick test of the software and quick perusal of the quick start guide. Emphasis on quick so I may have missed some of the obvious things.
1. There seems to be implication that the profiles are saved to the cloud. However, when I setup my custom printer on my second computer, there appeared to be no synchronization. Am I missing something?
2. What's the best practice for dual extrusion? With 2.X, I had a process setup for Left Extrusion, Right Extrusion and Dual extrusion. I can do the same here but the filament profiles will overwrite the temperature settings for the disabled extruder. Should I make duplicate machine profiles? I'd like to avoid manually tweaking settings all the time and keeping those parameters synchronized. I can make do but I'm hoping someone has figured out better practices.
3. Is there a list of which variables get saved under which category (filament/quality/global)? Is there any way to petition for a change? Initial layer height appears to be global but because it's a percent, it would make sense to have it mirror the quality setting. I usually have my initial layer height to 0.3mm (I have a very large machine) and it's annoying to have to set it to 300% at high quality 200% at medium quality etc manually every time I change quality.

As for question number 2... They suggest that you use an existing dual extrusion printer to start configuring your machine. They're serious about this. just selecting 2 extruders with the other printer type is not adequate to activate the dual extrusion features.

For #3, just go to File > Export FFF Profile to save one of your profiles to the hard drive. It will create an .fff file. Then open this file in a text editor and then scroll down to the <autoConfigureXXXX> sections. That will allow you to see exactly what is changing for each auto configure options. This is also where you can modify what settings are changed for each section. For example, if you want to auto-configure the first layer height as part of the autoConfigureQuality sections, then just add a <firstLayerHeightPercentage>200</firstLayerHeightPercentage> tag within each <autoConfigureQuality> section. Now if you import this profile back into the software (File > Import FFF Profile), it will automatically include those settings as part of the quality auto-configure selection.
