3.0.1 bug: Supports won't go away

If I add auto-supports to a model, then later "clear" them all, when I go "prepare the print", they're still there in the gcode previewer.
Quitting\restarting doesn't fix this, there appears to be no way to get rid of them. Even if I remove the model and reimport it, delete the process and create a new one, the supports still show up. I basically have to start everything from scratch to get rid of them. Did not have this issue in previous versions.

Repro steps:
* Import model that needs supports
* Via the Support Generation window, "Generate Automatic Supports"
* Slice the model, see the supports. Exit preview mode.
* Back in the 3d view, access the "Support Generation window again, and "Clear all supports"
* Slice the model: The supports are still there. Exit preview mode.
* Quit \ restart simplify 3d.
* Reslice the model: The supports are still there. Exit preview mode.
* Back in the 3d view, access the "Support Generation" window again. Manually add one support.
* Reslice the model: The single support shows up (and none of the old ones). Exit preview mode.
* Back in the 3d view, access the "Support Generation" window again. "Clear all supports".
* Reslice the model: All the old supports are back again. Exit preview mode.
* Delete the model, reimport it.
* Reslice the model: All the old supports are back again. Exit preview mode.
* Delete the process and add a new one.
* Reslice the model: All the old supports are back again.

I'm seeing a lot of problems with supports too. They intermittently work or don't work with no reasoning that I can find. I don't use supports a lot, so I've worked around the problems somewhat.

Just to be clear - are you unchecking the "Generate support" checkbox on the process support window? If it's checked, S3D will generate supports automatically whether or not you have them defined manually.

Re: 3.0.1 bug: Supports won't go away

HA, that's it. I have supports normally off, and when you create them manually it asks you if you want that process checkbox checked when you go to slice. Of course I do...
When I then remove all the manual supports, the checkbox in the process stays on, still creating them.

I wonder if this behavior has changed since v2? I just never recall encountering it before.

S3D Team: Would be nice if you "cleared manual support", if it asked you if you'd like to "disable support" in the process too.

Thanks dsegel, mystery solved.

This is true.. but you have always been able to go back in and manually delete various supports. The issue is there is times where they can-not be deleted.

I have also seen where if there is 2 or more different models and you click auto-generate for only a 1 selected model.. the other models have random support placements which you can not remove manually.
