This is a specific feature request as a follow-on to topic: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3357
Simplify provides controls for various surfaces, such as top/bottom, infill, etc. However, there is insufficient and inconsistent control for all surface kinds. The request is to identify these surface kinds and have a consistent and complete set of controls for each. Surface types include:
Top, bottom on build plate, bridged bottom, supported bottom, top, exterior/exposed vertical surface, interior/exposed vertical surface, unexposed infill, support middle, support top, support bottom.
Potential controls for each include: speed, extrusion, fan, temp, pattern, angle, %fill, exterior layers, extruder, layer height/width and override for ooze control/filament retraction/head retraction (each can be default or override).
The horizontal/vertical distinction should be based on angle, like is used for supports.
The specific use case driving this is better "suspended layers" - either bridged or supported as shown in the topic referenced above. For example, I may want rectilinear slow for a supported bottom and concentric fast for the top. Even if all of the above is not possible now, better support for supported bottoms with infill is very much needed.
