Fortunately Centre & Arrange came to my rescue.
Unexpected placement when duplicating model
I needed multiple prints so tried using the Duplicate Models option to get five copies....the part:
...and the result:
I would have thought the duplicated models would have been placed within the print area!!

no problem.
EDIT > Center and Arrange Models or
manually part by part pressing Control + Left mouse
