Triangular infill problem

I'm at work so I can't upload the factory file (will do it tonight) but if I set triangular infill pattern there are areas that get printed many multiples of times in a single layer causing a large build up of plastic. It's happening as the infill is created and it keeps printing over the same areas. And these problem areas are actually perimeters, so they shouldn't even be printing during the infill phase to begin with. odd to say the least.

Re: Triangular infill problem

The default for triangular infill is to "Print every infill angle on each layer", meaning that it will actually print three layers of infill on top of each other without any Z-increment.

This usually works fine, but I've noticed that if I print calibration cubes with 100% infill, I can clearly hear some rattling due to the nozzle riding/touching the crossings of the previous infill angles, especially for the third angle it prints, when there are already two layers printed. You could try turning this off and see if that changes anything.

This shouldn't really affect your perimeters, though.
