Print quality on thin pillars

Hi All,

This is my first post, I have previously got lots of good answers from other posts and the quality problems page.
However I cannot seem to get this issue licked. Below are 3 pictures showing the issue, I seem to be getting reasonable quality on long runs but small movements just don't deliver the same quality. This can be seen in the 3 pillars. Would anybody have any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Kind regards,

Jonny

Looks like you need to work on your retraction settings. If you don't have really good retraction distance, coasting, and wiping settings, then you can easily screw up small features like this.

Thanks Carl! I'll have a play with those settings over the weekend and see how I get on!

Hi there,

What type of material and what are your current settings? Also which printer would help as well. ;)
