some portions not printing on the first layer

the legs of the attached model don't start printing on the 1st layer, but start on the 2nd layer, making it slightly deformed and it doesn't stick as well. the ring starts printing on the 1st layer properly.

how do i force s3d to print all of it starting on the 1st layer?

i'm using a bcn3d sigma printer with pla filament.

If you look close the two sections are slightly off-set. You could try positioning on the bed and adjust the model on the Z axis down by one layer. This would let it start flat on the bed.
