Need Help on Process Setting

Hinge design.jpg
I am using a Dremel 3D Idea Builder. Trying to design a hinge. Pictures attached. In the Print Preview there seems to be a fill in the vertical hinge spacing that is not there in the Hinge design. Is there a process setting to fix that? The free are space between the outside and inside Hinge elements is 1 MM. I understand that there would be string strands because of free space but this deems to be a layer has been inserted by Simmplify3D.

That looks like support structures. I would think you would still want that, otherwise, you will have a tough time printing those unsupported surfaces..

No, It is not support structure. When it prints it appears like an Oze at that location. The design is a Hinge and I need it to be clear.

I does look like support. on the left under the check box for retraction is a drop down list. Change it to type I think and you will see a colored chart for the different types of printed areas.

Re: Need Help on Process Setting

Yep, It was support structure. I clicked off the box for support structure and it went away. Although there is some droop from the upper hinge knuckle, I succeeded in printing a working Hinge. I wish my Dremel allowed control of the Extruder Temp because in that short distance of free space, a cooler extruder Temp might male the empty space have less droop. Thank you very much for your input. There is a lot to learn in Simplify3D and I like it very much.
