Tip on wanhao i3 Flexi filament

Hey all

I thought I would share with me regarding the use of flexi filaments on Wanhao i3

I use a BondTech Extruder that I have just purchased and am very pleased with it, I must say.

I did not get it to work with wanhaos own stuff the filament got jamd al the time.

So after a lot of searching and information seeking , I decided for a BondTech exturder, and I must say that it is worth every penny, really good.

The jams and stops in the nozzle is only a memory.

With Flexi filaments I run 1.0 in the feed, 100% first layer ,

I use the following settings:

Layer Height 0.2, less then it jams the nozzle (for me)

Skirt 8 outlines to prevent the rise of printing.

Default print speed of 35mm / s
Bed 70 degrees
Extruder 250 degrees

When I run at lower teperatur it will jam and stop, but wiht 250 degrees it has worked well.

Hope this can help somebody as I have been testing a lot of prints to find the ideal.

Re: Tip on wanhao i3 Flexi filament

Sorry Tried it did not work for me.

Seens i hade the Bontech extruder installed i have not hade ANY nozzle jams.

The cure for this printer to get really got is a Bondtech extruder in my opinion.

I added this thread to possibly help those who want
help.

Very possibly it works for some but then it does not solve the real problem with the feed wheel. The solituion for that i my case was the Bondtech extruder.
