Possible bug with retract over open spaces and supports

Hello,

I'm trying to print with "Only retract when crossing open spaces" checked to minimize blobs, and it mostly works great, but I found a case where it fails to generate a retraction resulting in strings coming out the side of the model. It seems to happen when the tool head moves from printing the support structure back to printing the main model.

I cadded up a model to illustrate this:

It looks to me like it isn't retracting because you disabled "retract between layers". So that point you highlighted is the last thing printed on each layer. So just enable that option if you want a retract at the end of each layer.

I don't know if this is related to the thread above at all, but perhaps some of those people also had this option disabled.

That option is to force a retract every layer, and it shouldn't be necessary to generate a retract over open space even at the end of a layer.

If the piece off to the side was part of the model instead of a support S3D would properly generate a retract.

Turning on "Force retract between layers" is fine in this case due to the many shells, but it does generate an extra retract every layer and for some models that causes the blobs I wanted to eliminate.
