More top bottom layer control

I would like to see some more independent More top bottom layer control.
Even after figuring out the infill controls also effect the top/bottom layers. (really need better documentation on this!) And was glad to see addition of External fill pattern.

It seems to be just short of the features that would make it even more useful.

Like, the Concentric pattern prints VERY nicely but often does not print well over normal infill (understandable but problematic). Being able to switch from one pattern to another would make this setting much more useful . . and possibly a default for some people.

Like setting the first and last (or 1st %) of patterns to one pattern (like the Concentric ) Effectively the outer shell and the inner top/bottom layers rectilinear (which span infill better) would make very nice prints.

Also how about separating out the top and bottom layer controls entirely from the infill controls? just another tab. This will allow much better understanding of the controls and more customization and something the other slicers do not do.
I find this important as I have "sold" a few new people on s3d and there learning curve has been troublesome. They eventually came to like it but it was a close thing. s3d has a lot of great features but often seems to hid them and even worse people coming from other slicers see settings that often do not do what they expect them to do. I think this may aid to simplifying :) the UI a bit and possibly opening up new controls that advanced users can use.

Thanks,
