Part import: orientation/rotation and origin

Hi,

just bought S3D and preparing to make some prints in the next few days. I own a Raise3D printer, so I want to make some suggestions based on the slicer software coming with the R3D printers.

1) Rotation: would be nice if S3D supports 90° buttons for quickly changing the rotation
2) Part import: some slicers use the origin from the imported model file, whereas other slicers calculate the origin based on a bounding box of the model and take the midpoint, so it would be nice if this can be chosen on the preferences for model import
3) when changing the rotation, an option to automatically set the Z coordinates to touch the printing bed would also be nice

Reason for #2 is mainly because the R3D printer needs an additional data file generated by the R3D slicer. This needs to have the models in both R3D and S3D slicer on the same positions, which is difficult to obtain if the slicers use different origins.

Re: Part import: orientation/rotation and origin

Absolutely a big frustration with the software - the functionality is there, but the access isn't.

"Place Surface on Bed" could just as easily get a button and would save a lot of time when I'm switching between softwares, especially on an unfamiliar machine.
