I have a delta printer and print tall objects that need support, for example a complicated helmet.
When adding support you see pillars, but can not tell how the support will actually generate, so you end up with single lines of tall support are not connected to anything and have no chance of surviving.
You can go back and forth between generating support and Prepare to Print, but that takes a lot of time and you have to guess where the problem was.
It would be better to have a Preview Support option (with hot key) while placing support. Yes it might take a second or so, but that's fine!
The best thing would be to have S3D be more aware of how tall the support is, and make it stronger and with a better base (brim) if it is tall, "Auto-Strong-Support".
