Hair coming out like Morse code

When printing a "hairy" model, the strands of hair come out like Morse code, and attempt to print as such. This issue doesn't exist in Cura for this exact model, so I assume it's a setting somewhere.

Your image is not displaying....so its difficult, if not impossible to offer any advice.

Even if your image was visible, it would be difficult to offer advice with almost nothing to go on. Please attach your factory file ( File menu....sSave Factory file) and include basic details like the material, what changes you have made to the settings, etc.

You're talking a lot of sense. I've made a few changes to settings. I'm currently printing in PETG 240 bed 80. I've attached the factory file as asked and the FFF. My problem doesn't necessarily come from the material/printer end, as much as the slicer end.

I took one today and one yesterday, so they're slightly different spots, but the same area overall.

My settings from Cura are the same as best I can tell - and doesn't give the "Morse code" hair. At very least I tried to bring over as many settings as possible and even watched a few videos on setup and new features. One telling me to set perimeter overlap to at least 65% which was the setting prior to 4.0, but from what I understand that only affects things like infill going to the perimeter walls.

I can provide pictures of the settings screens if you'd like, but it feels like overkill.

Re: Hair coming out like Morse code

It doesn't sound like exactly the same thing, but I was seeing similar issues with very small models I was printing.

In my case, it was the coasting settings that made the render look like it was going to fail, but the print was actually OK.

If you set your coast setting to zero, what does the model look like when rendered? Don't print with coast set to zero though, unless you want a print with more zits than an unlucky teenager! :)

It may be worth looking at the the thin walls settings too.
