Better Managment of multiple Printers

I have 3 different 3D Printers, each with a different print bed size and each time I open STL models the software and place objects, it is showing the last printers bed geometry. Only after I go build a process and pick the printer does it reshape the bed to that printer.

Then I have to go back, reorganized my STL files, Delete the Process and make a new one with the proper settings.

While there is a work around, this is an annoyance. I would suggest a drop down on the menu bar to let me pick which printer I am planning this print for before I start placing objects.

You are trolling right? o.O
You just have to have different base profiles saved..it takes literally 2 clicks to do what you are asking for. Click the dropdown and sele the base profile for a given printer.

Can you explain it step by step for a noob?
Thank you

Me too.. And no, I'm not "trolling", but I think you are. If it's so easy, why not explain how instead of bashing people looking for help or making a suggestion? Sounds like your trolling to me.

Re: Better Managment of multiple Printers

I also have three printers I use a lot. UM3, UM2+ and Prusa MK3.

If you run the configuration assistant and add each printer you can then create different processes for them (and have them all listed in the same view) - no need to delete machines and profiles.
I name them like this:
UM2+ PLA 04
UM3 PLA 04
MK3 PLA 04

And so on... Just make sure that you select the correct printer in the dropdown for "Select Profile" for each process and the build area etc should correspond to the printer model.

So, basically I have a bunch of processes for a couple of machines and everything is working fine.
My problem is that when I add a new printer and does the configuration assistant step, all my existing processes gets removed and I will have to recreate them again...
Would be wonderful if there could be a real easy way to add new printers without losing processes that you may have changed to perfection.

Or is there a good workaround?
