After updating to 2.2, try going to Help-->Reset All Settings. i work on a fresh os install, there isn't old settings... and 2.1.0 use same settings of 2.2 (be cause share same settings), and work... any way, i tried also to clean some hidden folder where it save data, but nothing, 2.1.0 work fine ...
